Another FAFCO Sungrabber Solar Water Heating System Installed

This installation was a project that was approved for the Oncor Take A Load Off, Texas Solar Water Heating Program. Through this program, the homeowner received a rebate incentive through the program in the amount of $1828.74. That is an astounding amount of just over 34% of the total cost of the project.

1. By turning off the water when you brush your teeth you can save 8 gallons per day.
2. If you shorten your showers by one or two minutes, you can save 5 gallons per day, per shower.
3. Fix leaky faucets and save 20 gallons per day.

Oncor Solar Water Heating Incentive Raised Significantly

As of January 1, Oncor has dramatically raised the incentive levels for standard residential solar water heating projects to roughly $1,400-$2,700, depending on a system’s predicted performance. The non-residential and low-income residential incentives remain at their 2009 levels.
