Every Drop Counts

Did you know that an American home can waste, on average, more than 10,000 gallons of water every year due to running toilets, dripping faucets, and other household leaks?

Nationwide, more than 1 trillion gallons of water leak from U.S. homes each year. That's why WaterSense reminds Americans to check their plumbing fixtures and irrigation systems each year during Fix a Leak Week.

Texans who want to save money on ENERGY STAR® appliances will soon have a chance to apply for mail-in rebates on those purchases. Texas Comptroller Susan Combs announced the purchase period for the Texas Appliance Mail-In Rebate Program will start on Dec. 20.

Approximately $10 million is available for the traditional mail-in rebate program, which will remain open until all funds are distributed.

“As Texans buy appliances that can help cut their energy bills, they can also save on the price of the appliances with these rebates,” said Combs. “Consumers can start buying the appliances on Dec. 20 and, after installation, mail in their completed rebate application form and a copy of the receipt to be eligible for the rebates.”

Compared to a tank water heater's 60% efficiency, an 83%-94% energy-efficiency levels make Noritz tankless water heaters much more eco-friendly.

Better hurry and book your appointment to have Innerline Plumbing install a tankless water heater before the 30% federal tax credit runs out 12/31/2010.
