Happy Solar Water Heater Customer in Arlington!

Charlotte T. of Arlington is very happy about her FAFCO solar water heater installed under the Oncor Take A Load Off, Texas solar water heating incentive program earlier in 2011.

The Oncor incentive of $3800.00 paid for just under 90% of the entire project, which also included the replacement of their existing 27 year old electric water heater!

Craig Woolheater of Innerline Plumbing in Mansfield, Texas is the deserving winner of the Green Plumber of the Year for the Southern Region. Innerline Plumbing has partnered with non-profit organizations to install green plumbing technologies in local affordable housing. Craig also works with the city government and local task forces to green the city’s facilities, promote green jobs, and educate the public.

It’s wonderful to never run short of hot water.

And not having to keep a tank of water heated all the time is a great way to cut down on propane usage and expense.

City of Arlington’s Free “Go With the Flow” Toilet Distribution Event

On Saturday, May 7, 2011, Arlington Water Utilities will provide 600 free high-efficiency toilets to Arlington residents.

Replacing older, high water use toilets with high efficiency toilets can potentially save a family of four $90 or more a year in reduced water and wastewater costs.
