Stop Running Toilets and Leaks

Posted April 11th, 2007 by Craig Woolheater

A running toilet is about as uncommon as the sunrise, yet this problem often goes unnoticed. You guessed it, we encounter this problem on a daily basis and many times, the problem has existed for weeks, wasting gallons of water and hundreds of dollars. Lets face it, not everyone has the trained ear of a licensed plumber. This partly explains why household toilets are responsible for nearly 27% of all water used in the home, according to the AWWA (American Water Works Association).

A newly patented product from H2O Guard, Inc., the Fill-O-MeterT valve may be the answer. This valve measures a predetermined amount of water and releases only the required amount into the toilet tank before shutting off. This process puts and end to the running toilet. Not only does the valve prevent the running toilet, but it also detects internal toilet leaks.

A new valve stops running toilets immediately. The valve measures the exact amount of water needed after each flush. Once the tank is full the valve shuts off any additonal water. A leak is quickly detected and stopped. — Robert Easter, Founder and CEO H20Guard, Inc.

The valve is easy to install, so you should be able to DIY, but if you need the help of a licensed plumber, give us a call or submit an online Service Request and we will be happy to assist you.
