This Murphy USA gas station was having continual sewer stoppage problems. The fixtures in the restroom were continually backing up.

We performed inline video camera inspection service and found a soft blockage on the 4″ PVC sewer line.

The line was was cleared several times using our hydro-jetter to offer relief while waiting for the corporate office to approve proposed repairs.

Once approval was given, we excavated eight feet down in the soil to locate the problem area.

Once exposed, we found that the problem that the problem was at the juncture of the 4″ PVC sewer pipe to the 6″ sewer line.

The juncture had dropped, causing a severe “V” in the line, allowing waste to accumulate in line and causing the restroom fixtures to back up.

We chipped into the side of the manhole and corrected the fall on the 6″ sewer line and the reconnected the 4″ line to correct the problem.

We bedded the lines with concrete and re-mortared the manhole.

Repair was inspected by City of Mansfield inspector and was passed with a green tag.

Excavation was backfilled and their system is draining fine.
