MEET OUR NEW GREENPLUMBER:
INNERLINE PLUMBING
SACRAMENTO, CA: Craig Woolheater, owner of Innerline Plumbing in Mansfield, Texas, a suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth, has been interested in GreenPlumbers since before the program was available in the U.S. — but that’s par for the course for the family-owned, managed and operated company. Innerline strives to keep an edge over its competitors by offering the latest technology and the most comprehensive plumbing services available in the area.
“I was interested in the GreenPlumbers program before it came to the States,” Woolheater says. “I was researching it in early 2007 and contacted my state PHCC to see about getting it implemented.”
Innerline’s focus on the future, and its commitment to the green movement, was evident before the company took on the GreenPlumber designation. The company participates in Oncor’s Take A Load Off, Texas solar water heating program, which enables customers to receive home solar water heating systems at reduced cost. Woolheater says the Solar Hot Water class he took to become a GreenPlumber has already benefited his customers. “We have installed two FAFCO Sungrabber solar systems for low-income families through the Oncor program,” he says. “I’m hoping to assist many more people with water and energy-efficient technologies.”
As the only licensed GreenPlumber in North Texas, Innerline is working towards accrediting all its employees as GreenPlumbers, so consumers can be assured that when they use Innerline for their plumbing needs, the person who comes to their door is trained in water conservation, climate care, solar technology and energy efficiency. Woolheater is confident consumers will see the value of hiring a licensed GreenPlumber. “I expect to gain business that would not have been available to me otherwise.”
Innerline Plumbing brings over 100 years of experience through four generations of plumbers to offer comprehensive service in residential, multifamily and commercial plumbing services include slab leak location and repair, trenchless sewer and water line replacement, water audits and water-efficient technology and products. The company plans to increase its green offerings to include rainwater harvesting and graywater reuse.
The GreenPlumbers training and accreditation program is open to all recognized plumbers and contractors. The program is partnered with the EPA’s WaterSense program, the Alliance for Water Efficiency, the California Center for Sustainable Energy, the California Urban Water Conservation Council, and many more industry leaders in its mission of bringing environmental training to plumbers. Congratulations on being North Texas’ first Licensed Green Plumber! I know you’ve been waiting for these classes and glad you went ahead and took them…we just had our first class in June and now have more scheduled, but not yet in Dallas. Good luck! Hope to see you soon! Nancy
